Chloe and Olivia were taking a road trip. They had been counseled many times about how dangerous it was for two women to take a road trip alone. By alone, it was meant with no man for protection. They went anyway. They knew that these things do not always fall along gender lines. Some women are fiercer than some men. It just depends on the woman – or man – in question. Chloe and Olivia were of the fierce kind – Chloe foul-mouthed and hot-tempered, Olivia quiet and ruthless if the occasion demanded. They were best friends, having a great time on the road. That is, until a truck cut in front of them and slowed down.
